Before making an inquiry!
Which type of golfer are you?
1: A golfer who needs rental golf clubs
2: Golfers who bring their clubs
I give priority to the second type of golfer, the golfer who brings his/her clubs.
The reason for this is that the first type of golfer is most likely a tourist visiting Japan for sightseeing purposes.
Most golf courses only have 4-sets of rental clubs.
It is impossible to request a rental club of your choice. Furthermore, they do not have rental shoes.
Golfers who are thinking of playing golf while sightseeing can easily get tee times I have taken, and many of them, cancel them easily.
This would cause me to lose all credibility with golf courses, which is very annoying.
Of course, I am sure that there are guests who are second golfers who would like to enjoy sightseeing after golf.
However, I do not refuse all those who wish to rent. Some are accepted.
If you have your golf bag, please let me know, I will try to find a golf course where you can play.
=======
1: Golfers who make inquiries about 2 weeks before the play date or the day before.
2: Golfers who make inquiries 2-3 months before the play date.
I often receive inquiries a week in advance or, in the worst case, the day before the play date, but I do not accept these inquiries as out of the question.
Perhaps such persons think they can get Tee times for free?
Please refer to the Booking Tee times>Commission page.
I will give priority to customer number 2.
Golf courses are open to the public for golf play two or three months in advance.
For groups with 2 or more tee times you want, I am happy to hear from you more than 3 months in advance.
I will accept your inquiry even 1 week or 10 days before the play date, but it will probably be around the time when the cancellation fee has already been incurred, so it will be difficult to get Tee times.
=========
Obtaining tee times at a golf course is very different from making a hotel reservation.
I feel that the manners of foreign golfers are getting a little worse.
Hotels basically cannot legally refuse to accommodate you for any reason.
Golf courses, to put it bluntly, are basically in the position of being a golf course for their members.
Therefore, I think it is important to take the stance that even if I take tee times for you, you will still be allowed to play.
Some people often say that the customer is God, but I hope you will always consider that you are asking the golf course to allow you to play golf.
Most golf courses do not like to accept foreign golfers.
This is because they do not have staff who can speak foreign languages.
I hope you are at least a little aware that your poor golf etiquette is indirectly damaging my credibility.
Anyway, I sincerely hope you will enjoy playing golf in Japan fully.
Thank you!
