Stay in Kisarazu City and play golf

The Kisarazu area in Chiba prefecture, about an hour drive from Tokyo via the TOKYO-WAN-AQUA-LINE EXPWY, is full of unique Links Courses, casual golf courses, and scenic golf courses.
The famous "Umihotaru" parking spot on Tokyo Bay is also a great place for sightseeing.
There is one disadvantage to this area. When you return a hotel in Tokyo after a round of golf from Kisarazu, traffic is extremely congested from Umihotaru toward Tokyo, making it difficult to get to your hotel in Tokyo.  This traffic jam may make you forget how much fun you had playing golf that day. To avoid this traffic, I recommend that you stay one or two nights at a hotel in Kisarazu. If you stay at a hotel in Kisarazu, the distance to the golf course is within 30 minutes, so it is especially recommended.

PGM MARIA GOLF LINKS

PGM Maria Golf Links was the first course designed in Japan by the famous course designer Pete Dye.
The unique undulations and large hazards make it a wonderful course where you can feel the origin of modern course strategy.

Three island greens in the world
The par 3 17th island green is Pete Dye's trademark,
In fact, there are only three courses in the world that have the same design as this beautiful and difficult par 3 that he himself created.
TPC Sawgrass Stadium in Florida, PGA West in California, and PGM Maria Golf Links here in Japan.

Shinkimitsu Bellgreen Country Club

This is a hilly golf course. The course is spacious on the southern slope of a gently sloping hill, and each hole is well mounded to create a unique course. The out holes are short, but the fairways are wide, allowing you to enjoy a bold driver's shot. The in-ground holes are strategic, especially the 13th, a scenic short hole surrounded by a large lake.
The challenging 4 holes, 13th, 14th, 15th and 16th holes may be quite difficult.
These are "Amen Corner" on the bell green.

Bristol Hill Golf Club is the first golf club in Japan to be developed on the scale of a golf club located in a "gated golf community."
Residences dot the sides of the course, creating a landscape reminiscent of an overseas resort.
Bristol's style of play is "casual and stylish," realizing a community life centered on golf.
"Casual & Stylish".
